Michael Payton Haisten of Dothan Alabama was born on September 15 1953 and entered his eternal home on May 17 2026 at the age of 72. He was the beloved son of the late Payton and Ruby Haisten. Mike was a devoted husband father grandfather brother and friend whose greatest joy in life was his family. He loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart and nothing brought him more happiness than spending time with them and sharing in their lives. Mike had a deep love for the outdoors and enjoyed hunting fishing golfing and bowling. He was a hardworking man who took pride in all he did. Mike was born April 10 1971 to the late Stevan Ferry and Lynn Wood Holsinger. Mike served his country in the United States Army where he served as a medic. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family traveling boating woodworking camping and making people laugh. He was passionate about his country the flag and the military. Mike held many positions in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and DAV. He also served as a liaison between veterans and the VA. In addition to his parents Mike was preceded in death by his first wife Ginger his son Andrew his brother Timothy Holsinger his nephew Brandon Heinselman and his niece Jewel Holsinger. She was known as a hard worker who loved to stay busy and work throughout her life. After her parents passings her older brother Jack was her caretaker as well as Joseph and Betty Friel who she looked to as a second set of parents. Marianne graduated Archbishop Wood Catholic High School in 1972. In 1985 she moved to Cowarts Alabama where she lived the remainder of her life. She had a wide range of jobs throughout her lifetime but no matter where she was she had no shortage of friends and loved ones. She was a beloved mother to her daughter Allison and Tootsie to her grandchildren Jamie and Cody.
