Koerfer (Nimmo).Nancy grew up in Cheyenne and attended the University of Wyoming before beginning her career with the Chamber of Commerce, where Cheyenne Frontier Days became a memorable part of her early years. She loved meeting people, learning their stories, and remembering the details—a curiosity about people and the world around her that remained with her throughout her life.Nancy met her husband, John, while visiting her parents in Scottsdale. Mutual friends introduced them, and after a few dinners together, their relationship quickly blossomed.
