She was 105 years old and was with her daughter Sandy and son-in-law, Bob, at her side.Born and raised in Milton, Iowa to Ford and Ruth McMillan, Eileen lived a life full of love, adventure, and legacy. It was in Milton where she met the love of her life, A.D. “Andy” Anderson. The two were married in 1938, embarking on a partnership that would span 52 years until his passing in July 1990.In 1957, Eileen and Andy moved to Denison, Iowa, where he co-founded Iowa Beef Processors (IBP). What began as a bold business venture grew into the world's largest beef packing company, reshaping the industry and impacting thousands of lives. Peggy Nelson, 93, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, in Scottsdale, Arizona, following a life filled with family, friendship, service, adventure, and a deep love of animals.Born in Park Ridge, Illinois, and raised on a farm in Brooklyn, Michigan, Peggy ultimately made her home in Barrington, Illinois, where she was a cherished member of the community for nearly six decades. In her later years, she and her husband, Peter, became “snowbirds,” escaping Midwest winters for Carefree, Arizona, before making Arizona their full-time home in 2012.Peggy graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1950 and went on to Lake Forest College, where she earned degrees in English and Education with honors in 1954.
