Louis David Zellner Jr. better known as Zeke passed away May 11th 2026 at the age of 73. A lifelong native of Camp Verde born to the lateLouis David Zellner Sr. and Nona Juanetta Teague on January 15th 1953. Zeke attended 12 years of Camp Verde schools and cherished the many friends he made there. He attended Camp Verde Calvary Chapel where he valued his many friends there and was an active member of the congregation. Zeke was a traditional working man with skills in many vocations. These included timber falling where he started working at the age of 12 for his uncle in the woods. He owned a sawmill and drove log trucks for many years. Dr. Val as she was known to her friends was a retired naturopathic physician. She was an accomplished woman with diverse interests. She received her degrees in nursing prior to earning her doctorate. She was an acupuncturist ordained minister writer artist painting stained glass and sandblasting jewelry making musician horsewoman hiker lecturer and guide in Mexico and Belize. She also taught classes in first aid spirituality metaphysics art and survival skills. She was a gun enthusiast a passion she shared with her late husband and was a S.A.S.S. member known as Maggie Hall.
