92 passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family after living a long happy and healthy life on March 31 2026. He was born on November 10 1933 in Ashland Ohio to Albert and Mabel Dockendorf. Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army. He later earned his degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and worked for Motorola as an electrical engineer for 33 years. Carls life passion was barbershop music which he was involved in for over 50 years first as a singer and later as a director. Through barbershop he formed many lifelong friendships and found great joy in music. Carl met the love of his life Jacqueline Sue Dockendorf in Florida.
