Ross Milton Hefner 68 of Huntsville passed away Monday May 11 2026 at his home. He was born January 1 1958 in Delano CA to Dale Eugene Hefner and Linda Ann Wren Hefner. He was preceded in death by his father daughter Misty Edwards sister Deborah Ann Cuzick and brotherinlaw Steve Corkern. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Debra Hefner three sons Jason Edwards and wife Krissy of Springdale Jimmy Joe Hefner and wife Monica of California and Cody Hefner of Huntsville two daughters Amber Scates and husband Henry and Kayla Hefner of Huntsville sister Terry Corkern and Dawn Alley and husband Corey both of Huntsville brother Steve Hefner of Huntsville eighteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. The family will host a memorial service on May 30 2026 at 2 pm. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Madison County Funeral Service.

Shirly Anderson 73 of Iron County Utah passed away peacefully on May 7 2026 following a courageous fiveyear battle with breast cancer. Born Shirley May Stranphill on November 21 1952. She was the beloved daughter of Orval Columbus Stanphill 19161973 and Wilma Sarah Leona Shepard 19171976. From an early age Shirley demonstrated remarkable strength and responsibility. As a young women she cared devotedly for her parents through their illnesses until their passing experiences that shaped her lifelong commitment to service resilience and family. These early trials instilled in her a deep empathy for others facing hardship a quality that defined both her personal life and professional journey. She was born July 81974 In Fayetteville to Jesse Laird and Betty Osburn Laird. She was well known and loved in her community especially in her career in banking at First National Bank of Huntsville later known as Arvest bank. She was a member of the Hilltop Church of Huntsville. She loved spending her days with family and friends. She loved gospel music and was a constant light to those around her. She was preceded in death by her daughter Hannah Grace Crow.
