Janet D. Meador, age 86, of Hardy, Arkansas, passed away on April 2nd in Ash Flat, Arkansas. Janet was born on March 11th, 1940 in Tippah County, Mississippi to parents Elton Cagle and Irene Buchanan. Janet lived enjoyed her life by serving her community, serving as a secretary, accountant, business manager, but more importantly that she held dear, was working in child care.Janet is survived by her husband Ray; sons Timothy Scott Meador and Gregory Nelson Meador; sister Bonnie Knight; as well as by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; her daughter Sharon Renee Murphy and her brother Elton Cagle Jr.Services for Mrs. Janet will be held on Tuesday, April 7th, at the First Baptist Church of Hardy in Hardy, Arkansas, with visitation being held from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M., with funeral service beginning at 2:00 P.M.
