Melodie Ann Clark Scheideman was born in Sacramento on October 26 1959 and spent her entire life in the Folsom and Sacramento communities. She passed away on January 2 2026 after a brief illness leaving behind a legacy of love and creativity. Melodie was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Carol Clark and is survived by her sisters Michelle and Sabrina Clark as well as her devoted husband of 41 years Richard Scheideman. As a child Melodie participated in many different activities including Bluebirds Campfire Girls tap dancing and ballet. Michelle fondly remembers her time practicing and performing dance with Melodie during their early years. Family camping trips provided plenty of chances for group games and recreational activities. Sabrina remembers being smuggled into the drivein to watch movies. By the time she graduated from Folsom High School Melodie had taught herself to sew and enjoyed designing and making fashionable clothes…
