William J. Flaherty passed away peacefully on August 15, 2026, at AlmaVia of San Francisco. Bill passed away following a short battle with pneumonia. Bill was born and raised in the Sunset District of San Francisco, attended Saint Gabriel’s elementary school, Saint Ignatius high school, and went on to graduate college with an associate’s degree from the City College of San Francisco in 1977. Bill worked for Crocker Bank for several years and then worked as a Mainframe Computer Analyst for the City and County of San Francisco for over 25 years. Bill also played baseball with a travel team when he was a young man.Bill loved to travel. Bill and his wife Beverley traveled all over the world including several countries in South America, China, many destinations in Europe, Canada and Alaska. Bill also enjoyed spending time in the mountains. Bill and Beverley own a cabin in Tuolumne County…

Beloved husband of Susan Edstrom Hanley. Kevin was born in San Francisco on March 31, 1949. He was raised with his four siblings in the Sunset District. He graduated from Holy Name Grammar School in 1963 and from St. Ignatius High School in 1967. In 1971 he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the University of San Francisco. It was at USF that he met Susan Edstrom. They began dating shortly after graduation and enjoyed a wonderful marriage of 50 plus years.Following graduation from USF, Kevin joined the CPA firm of John F. Forbes and Co. where he earned his CPA license. He later worked for Stauffer Chemical Company and Beronio Lumber Company.Kevin was active in the community, volunteering and serving for many years on the Board of Directors at Helper’s Homes. He was also active in his parish communities, first at Holy Name and then at St. Ignatius.…
