It was there, while studying, that she met her husband and partner in life, Leopoldo.At the encouragement of her eldest sister, Sol, an established nurse who had already settled in the United States, Leticia and Leopoldo came to the U.S. in 1969 to build their life together and make a home in San Francisco, California.Leticia built a career in the freight forwarding and import customs brokerage industry.
