Kathleen (Kathy) Anne Gardziel passed away peacefully on June 29, 2026, at the age of 83.Kathy enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known for her warm heart, positive attitude, and infectious laughter. Her genuine kindness left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.Kathy was predeceased by her beloved husband, Ted Gardziel, in 2023. Daryl A. Mulnite passed away peacefully at his home on June 29, 2026, at the age of 62. At the time of his passing, Daryl was the primary owner and manager of the family business, Mulnite Farms in Broad Book, started by his grandfather, Emil O. Mulnite, in 1905 and subsequently owned by his father, Leonard Mulnite. Daryl dedicated his entire adult life to working on this farm, raising tobacco and nursery stock.Daryl was very proud of his time of service in the U.S. Army during his young adult years. It is with great sadness and love that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Dawiczyk Vartenigian at the age of 87 in West Hartford Connecticut. Barbara was born on December 1 1938 in Hartford Connecticut to Eleanor Szymkowicz Dawiczyk and Steven Dawiczyk. She graduated from Bulkeley High School and the University of Hartford with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. It was at Bulkeley High School that she met her devoted husband of 64 years George Vartenigian. She continued her studies at the Rhode Island School of Design and Holy Apostles Seminary of Theology and Philosophy. In midlife she entered the long lineage of iconographers through her study in Russia and her fifteen years of tutelage under accomplished iconographer Marek Czarnecki.
