Wynelle “Nell” Thompson Lewis, of Carrollton, Georgia, lived a life marked by quiet devotion, steady hands, and a deep love for her family. Born on June 25, 1933, in Carrollton, she spent her years creating a home where others were always cared for, welcomed, and remembered.Nell graduated from Villa Rica High School in 1950 and, in her younger years, attended beauty school, a chapter of her life she rarely spoke about, but one that reflected her natural creativity. That creativity stayed with her throughout her life, most beautifully expressed through her work as a seamstress. With skill and patience, she could take what was worn or ordinary and make it useful and beautiful again.
