It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Laura Jean Salinas, 77, of Villa Rica, Georgia, who passed away peacefully on March 14, 2026. Born on August 17, 1948, in Douglasville, Georgia, Laura spent her life surrounded by the warmth of family and the beauty of nature.With a heart full of love and dedication, Laura devoted 21 years of her professional life to the role of Office Manager at Gosson Corporation. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her commitment to her family. Laura cherished time spent with her son and daughter-in-law, John Salinas II and Terrie Salinas, and she held a special bond with her mother, Margie Gattis. She is also survived by her brother, Al Gattis; her grandchildren, Jessica, Kirk, John, and Kevin; and eleven great-grandchildren.Outside of her professional responsibilities, Laura found joy in nurturing her garden, where she delighted in planting flowers…
