Carol A. (nee Kegan) Ryan, age 75. Beloved wife of Thomas M. Ryan for 52 years. Loving mother of Matthew (Shannon) and Nora (Kevin Mitchell) Ryan. Cherished grandmother of Martin, Molly, Claire, Thomas, Joseph and Michael. Dear sister of Donald (Kathy) Kegan, Marge (the late William) Kenny and Tom (Susan) Kegan. Fond aunt to many nieces and nephews. Carol built a career as a legal secretary where she was admired for her attention to detail, reliability and kind heart. She formed many long-lasting relationships with the lawyers, judges, and colleagues in her forty plus years of service. Upon retirement Carol devoted her time to caring for her grandchildren and sharing time with her many groups of friends from all phases of her life. Irene was 98.Born in Lyons Illinois in 1927 and the daughter of Bohemian immigrants Joseph and Amelia Mundil Walta Irene was a loving and very beloved wife mother grandmother greatgrandmother sister aunt and friend. Irenes life centered around her love for Jesus her family and music. Her favorite hymn was Trust and Obey and she set a wonderful Christian example for all who knew her. Irene married Carl B. Gingrich of Lebanon Pennsylvania in 1949. They were married for 40 years and had three sons Dave Dan and Duane. Carl and Irene lovingly and skillfully raised their family in a house they purchased in Stickney Illinois in 1952 and she lived in that house for 61 years until she moved into senior living at Oak Trace in Downers Grove.
