Ashland Ave. Chicago for Funeral Service 1200 P.M. Interment Elmwood Cemetery.

Lloyd D. Miller March 22, 1929 – October 5, 2026 Lloyd D. Miller, 97, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, died on October 5, 2026. Born on March 22, 1929, Lloyd grew up in the Michigan communities of Applegate, Harbor Beach, and New Baltimore. He served in the U.S. Army, including two years in Germany with the 10th Division band. Lloyd earned a bachelor's degree from Albion College and went on to complete a PhD in Music Education at Michigan State University. A dedicated educator, he taught in the Munising, Leslie, Mt. Morris, and Flint schools, sharing a love of music with generations of Michigan students. He later served as Director of Fine Arts for the Flint Schools, championing the arts for students across the district, and was also a member of the Flint Symphony Orchestra.
