Daniel Edward Wherley of Table Grove IL passed away at 339 pm on Tuesday May 12 2026 in Macomb IL. He was born on March 16 1947 in Macomb the son of Pius Wendell and Marjorie Louise Palmer Wherley. He married Mary Jo Mayall on September 4 1965 in Ipava IL. She survives. Jeremy Wade Spencer 53 of Astoria IL passed away on Thursday May 14 2026 while enjoying one of his favorite pastimes of fishing. He was born on March 6 1973 at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville IL to David and Brenda Robertson Spencer who survive. Also surviving are his sister Amanda and Ryan Thomas niece Addison Thomas and nephew Colt Thomas all of Astoria and numerous aunts uncles and cousins. Jeremy was preceded in death by his brother Joey Spencer maternal grandparents Edmon Cotton and Mary Robertson paternal grandparents Harold and Margaret Spencer and three uncles Jerry Robertson Tim Robertson and Harold Spencer Jr. He worked at DOT Foods for almost 30 years. Some of his favorite pastimes were fishing hunting riding 4wheelers and tending his garden. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date. Myrtle Alice Bennett 86 of Vermont IL passed away at 100 pm on Tuesday May 12 2026 at her home. She was born on September 26 1939 the daughter of William Albert and Myrtle Lillian Worley Malone. She married Ernie Bennett in August 1981 in Beardstown IL. He survives. She is also survived by three children James Vaughn of Vermont Tanya Miley of Timewell IL and Laura Norris of Havana IL 10 grandchildren 22 greatgrandchildren 2 greatgreatgrandchildren and one sister Patsy Mayes. She was preceded in death by her parents one son Roger Dale Vaughn one brother Bill Malone and one sister Alberta Walters. Alice worked as a custodian at VIT High School.
