Emma Jane Edwards age 80 of Jacksonville Illinois passed away ay 1027 am on Sunday August 16 2026 at The Grove Health and Rehab Center in Jacksonville. She was born on April 2 1946 the daughter of Chester V. and Emily Mae Gunter Huntington. She married Kenneth Lee Festus Edwards on August 31 1973 in Beardstown Illinois. He preceded her in death on June 16 2006. She was also preceded in death by one son Daniel Edwards sister Judy Huntington and brother Chester E. Huntington. Emma is survived by one son Kenny Lee Edwards one brother Robert Gunter and six sisters Lois Chambers Amy Chambers Dixie Chambers Harriet Vilardo Mary Tim Hackett and Linda Shifflett. She will be interred by her husband Festus in the Mt. Zion Cemetery Astoria Illinois. Shawgo Memorial Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
