Roger V. Erlandson, 76, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away on March 30, 2026. He was born in Aurora, Illinois on October 18, 1949, the son of Oscar Herbert and Emma Jane (nee Bolf) Erlandson.He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers, Ronald Erlandson, Dennis Erlandson.He is survived by his sister, Colleen (George) Ridley, nieces and nephews, Michelle (Tom) VanPlew, Alyssa (Matt) Krajewski, Tyler VanPlew, Ryan VanPlew.Roger proudly served in the United States Army from 1970 to 1972. Following his military service, he worked at Allsteel Inc. until the company relocated. He was known for his kind and generous spirit and was always willing to help others without complaint, even while facing many health challenges.He was known to be the friend that would share Hershey candy bars and Tootsie Pops to neighbors and children in his apartment building.
