Jazmine Vaughan, 17, of Browning, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. She was born on March 28, 2008, the beautiful daughter of Carla and William Vaughan, who both survive.In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents, David (Diana) Ashbaker; her paternal grandmother, Myra Vaughan; two brothers, Alden and Andru; and her pet ferret (daughter), Buttercuppy.Jazmine was a light to all who knew her. Whether you knew her from school or from working with her at Walmart, you loved her. She loved cooking, shopping, her pets, and the color pink, and she was a member of the Rushville-Industry High School Choir and Drama Club. Jazmine loved her family, classmates, and close friends. Her light will be deeply missed.A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, at Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Beardstown. Marjorie R. Cross, 87 of Quincy and formerly of New Canton passed peacefully Wednesday afternoon February 11, 2026 at the Illinois Veterans Home in Quincy.She was born July 24, 1938 in Fairfield, Illinois the daughter of the late Herman and Lillie Moore Mayfield.She married Robert Samuel Cross October 14, 1965 in Springfield, Illinois and he preceded her in death September 5, 2025. Also preceding her in death was her son Kenneth Reever, daughter Carolyn Gilfoy, siblings Mildred Fae, Betty Jane, Bobby Gene, Doris June, Jackie Ray, Clyde Mitchell, Mary Alice and Herman Jr.Marjorie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She dedicated her life to caring for others. In her home and also as a CNA in nursing homes in Barry and Pittsfield for 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and being with her family and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Pittsfield.Surviving is her son Larry (Jocelyn)…
