Robert M. Churchwell, 59, died unexpectedly on March 22, 2026. Bob was born on January 31, 1967 to Dwayne and Helen Churchwell. He grew up and attended school in Moline, Illinois. Bob graduated from Moline High School where he excelled in Track and Field and received a sports scholarship to Western Illinois University. He earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Industrial Technology. After graduation, Bob went to work for Tyler Industries, where he met his wife Becky. He later worked for the city of East Moline as a Maintenance Electrician at the Water and Wastewater Plants. Bob retired in 2022 after 29 years of service. He was also the owner and operator of Clearwell Services.Bob loved people and never met a stranger. He was always first to offer help to his family and friends.
