Sarah Cummins, 83, of Eldorado, Illinois, passed away on May 13, 2026, at Ferrell Hospital. Born April 12, 1943, in Eldorado, she was the daughter of the late Anna Mae (Horton) Mitchell and Barney Pilkington.Sarah was well known in the community for her years of hard work and hospitality as the owner of the Lottaburger Drive‑In, a local landmark where she welcomed generations of Eldorado residents. She later became a devoted landlord, taking pride in providing homes and looking after the people who lived in them. She loved coon hunting and had a lifelong bond with animals, reflecting her appreciation for simple, honest living.She was preceded in death by her husband and companion of 33 years, James Harvey Cummins; her companion of 25 years, Richard Hoover; brothers Franklin, Robert Pilkington and sister Louise Gibbons.Survivors include her brothers Charlie (Janet) Pilkington of Beech Bluff, Tennessee, Earl Eugene (Karen) Pilkington, and her…
