Janice I. Primozic better known as Jan or Grannie Jannie of New Lenox, IL passed away peacefully August 19, 2026 at the well-earned age of 85. Born on March 26, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Maedell Koss (nee Draeger). Jan began her many years of travels after graduating high school and continuing her education in Kentucky, Tennessee, and New York City. Education was very important to her, and she found her calling in life to educate others, especially teenagers. She taught Math for 44.5 years completing her career at Thornridge High School. She was an avid traveler, always prioritizing trips with her family. Her travels took her to Alaska, Hawaii, England, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and even St. Petersburg, Russia to name a few.
