Janice I. Primozic better known as Jan or Grannie Jannie of New Lenox, IL passed away peacefully August 19, 2026 at the well-earned age of 85. Born on March 26, 1941 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Maedell Koss (nee Draeger).  Jan began her many years of travels after graduating high school and continuing her education in Kentucky, Tennessee, and New York City.  Education was very important to her, and she found her calling in life to educate others, especially teenagers.  She taught Math for 44.5 years completing her career at Thornridge High School. She was an avid traveler, always prioritizing trips with her family.  Her travels took her to Alaska, Hawaii, England, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, and even St. Petersburg, Russia to name a few. Richard Piunti, age 88, of Sauk Village, Midlothian, and formerly of Chicago Heights passed away August 20, 2026.Beloved husband of the late Kathleen (nee Gregorich) Piunti; loving father of Marc (Karen) and Michael Piunti; proud grandfather of Kayla and Melanie Piunti; caring brother of Judy (the late Jerry) Kokas, Darlene (Mario) Raquino, the late Nick “Jerry” (the late Jean) Piunti, and the late Gerard (Lynn) Piunti; uncle and friend to many.Richard was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for 30+ years in Park Forest. Ruth (nee Farrell) Brady, 89 late of Olympia Fields, formerly of Midlothian, IL. Wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, friend. Loving wife of the late Joseph Brady, devoted mother to Beth Edwards (Mike),Meg Sheetz (Rob), and Jay Brady (Chris). Proud grandmother to Jake Little (Jenny), Becky Mathews (Josh), Kristin Mitchell (Nick), Anna Sheetz, Clare Sheetz (Chad), and Grace Sheetz. & Great-grandmother to Abigail, Ashton, Addison, Mason, Miles, Annie and Matilda. Proud nurse for more than 50 years, dedicated Hospice Nurse. Ruth passed away peacefully on 08/19 in the Vitas Inpatient unit at Olympia fields Hospital. Morgan of Midlothian, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 15, at the age of 72.Stevie was born in Harvey, Illinois, to Hugh and Ruth Morgan on January 29, 1954. He graduated from Tinley Park High School in 1972.Steve lived a life defined by dedication and service, both to his community and to his loved ones. He proudly worked as a truck driver and an EMT, devoted many years as Captain at the Calumet Park Fire Department, and gave over 25 years of service to the Midlothian Fire Department.
