Russells journey through life was marked by his unwavering love he shared with his late beloved wife Linda M Dawson. They were married November 12 1983 in Mishawaka Indiana. Together they built a life filled with joy laughter and an enduring partnership that stood as a testament to their mutual respect and affection. He is survived by his loving children daughter Jennifer Eaton of Mishawaka Indiana and two sons Russell Kasia Dawson III and David Rachel Dawson both of Illinois. It is with both sadness and a sense of peace that we announce the passing of Barbara Mary Gordon Wirt who entered eternal rest on March 29 2026 reunited with her Heavenly Father and her beloved husband. Born in 1938 to the late Purdue and Florence Gordon Barbara lived a life defined by faith compassion and service. In addition to her parents Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Michael Wirt Sr. her siblings Phyllis Woolbright and John Gordon and her lifelong friend of more than 75 years Dixie.
