Hoffine 80 of Lafayette passed away Wednesday August 19 2026 at her home with her family by her side. She was born November 18 1945 in Lafayette to the late Shellie Willard and Hazel M. Davenport Dagley. Linda spent her younger years growing up in Otterbein graduating from Otterbein High School in 1964. Following graduation Linda and her family moved to the Klondike area where her family successfully bred raised and showed American Quarter Horses. She was a member of Chalmers Community Church. Linda worked in the Bursars Office and at Purdue Education of Psychology. While riding and showing horses Lindas brother Robert introduced her to the love of her life Thomas Tom Hoffine. William D. Gregory 87 of Lafayette passed away on Thursday August 20 2026 at Franciscan Health Lafayette. He was born December 7 1938 in Williamsport IN to the late Sam and Fern Barlow Gregory. Bill graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High School and on July 24 1982 he married his soulmate Denise Cherry Bowers in Lafayette and she survives. Bill owned and operated Gregory Sons Construction Company for 60 years and retired in 2019 at the age of 81.He was a member of Moose Lodge 40 8 and Navy Club Ship 12. He loved all music especially Fleetwood Mac. He loved boating and fishing with his granddaughter and taking warm beach vacations with his grandson. In his personal time he loved to pull tabs at Champs.
