Dianne Rae Gross Hesseltine 59 passed away peacefully on Thursday May 14 2026 at Solon Nursing Care Center surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 19 1967 Dianne was a caring and generous woman whose greatest joy in life was taking care of others. She spent many years working as a hairstylist before later serving as a cook at the Salvation Army Church where she was also a devoted member. Preparing meals for those in need brought her happiness and she took pride in making sure everyone around her felt cared for welcomed and fed. Dianne had a deep love for lifes simple moments. She loved spoiling her grandchildren gardening and bird watching especially hummingbirds as well as spending as much time outdoors as possible. Above all else she was a giver. Someone who always put others first and made sure her family and friends knew they were loved.…

Teds childhood was very active. Along with his mom and dad and his two brothers Steve and Tom the family together enjoyed fishing hunting mushrooming and growing fruits and veggies at Grandmas and Grandpas. He was very active in Boy Scouts and at just age 14 he was named an Eagle Scout. He followed this up with honors in the Order of the Arrow. Ted would later become an outstanding Scout Master. Ted graduated high school in 1967 from Iowa City City High where he played football wrestled and track. After his high school graduation Ted made the decision to travel before attending college. He set out hitchhiking early one morning carrying just one backpack filled with a few clothes and necessities. He ended up in the Gulf of Mexico where he spent a year working on a shrimp boat. The Rev. Kenneth Douglas Royar was born in Kansas City MO. July 6 1936 to Robert and Virgina Cordray Royar the first of three children. His fathers employment with the Army Corps of Engineers resulted in many moves within MO. Ok. and TX. Ken graduated from Polytechnic H.S. in Ft. Worth where he played cornet. He then attended Texas AM for 2 years before transferring to Texas Wesleyan College to pursue the ministry. Thiswas not what his father had planned for his son. He wanted Ken to be an aeronautical engineer. Which Kens son later became. While at Texas Wesleyan he participated in tennis and musical productions. His love of singing remained a great joy throughout his life. Following his graduation from TWC he received his Master of Divinity degree from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He served as youth director in Ft.
