LaCenter KY Norma Jean Taylor 84 passed away on Wednesday May 13 2026 at Life Care Center in LaCenter. She was born May 31 1941 in Livingston County to the late Herman Lee and Inez Dristall Hill. A member of First Baptist Church of LaCenter Jean worked as a CNA at Life Care Center in her younger years. She loved being at home caring for her family and was a wonderful cook who delighted in preparing meals for them. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed fishing and shopping. Jean is survived by her daughter Teresa Gail Draper Kevin of LaCenter KY five grandchildren Jason Taylor Sandy Kyle McKean Chelsea Hannah Draper Carrie Taylor and Lisa Taylor several greatgrandchildren a sister Ann Guill Ronnie of Carrsville KY. Kevil KY James Thomas Oliver 64 passed away at his home in Bandana KY on Tuesday May 12 2026. Born September 10 1961 he was the son of the late Cicle Frank and Lydia A. Arvelo Oliver. James worked as a mechanical operator for Credence Speakers and later for Tyler Mountain Water. He loved music and had a knack for anything involving computers and technology. Recently saved he was joyfully living his life for the Lord. He is survived by his sisters Arline Slyder of Mesa AZ Vicky Hickox Tim of Casa Grande AZ and Diane Butler Paul of Barlow KY and his brother David Oliver Laura of Sun City AZ.
