Isabel “Isa” Ralston Smith Dean, age 90, of Middlesboro, KY passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on May 12, 2026. Born on November 23, 1935 in Middlesboro, KY, she was the daughter of the late Guy W Smith and Iva Mae Simpson Smith. In addition to her parents, Isa was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Bill Lee Dean; brothers: Jack Robert “Bobby” Smith, Guy W Smith Jr. and Tommy Wayne Smith; sisters: Thelma Smith Welch, Betty Jo Smith Carter, and Billie Smith Laws.Left to cherish her memory are her children: Charles Michael “Mike” Dean, Karen Dean Trosper and Diane Dean Medley (Keith); grandchildren: Josh Trosper (Christina), Jessica Medley (Jeffery), Billy Dean, Adam Trosper (Keda), Caleb Medley (Renee), Kelsey Dean Jones (Stephen), Micah Medley (Detra) and Matthew Dean; along with a host of treasured great-grandchildren and special nephew, Ronnie Carter (Carolyn).Isa worked for many…
