Robert Eugene Rowan, 69, of Owensboro, Kentucky, passed away in the early morning hours of April 2, 2026, at Heartford House, surrounded by loved ones.Born in Owensboro, Kentucky, he was the son of Ronald and Dorothy Rowan. Bob was a devoted husband, father, and "Papa," and a man who seemed to know everyone in the community-and was known and loved right back.He shared 41 wonderful years of marriage with his wife, Karen Rowan. Together, they built a life centered on family, hard work, and caring for others. He was a proud father to Amanda Rowan and Ryan Rowan (April), and a deeply devoted Papa to his grandchildren, Reece and Lilianna, who brought him his greatest joy.He is also survived by his parents, Ronald and Dorothy Rowan; his brothers, Ronnie Rowan (Debbie) and Ricky Rowan (Tammy); as well as several nieces and nephews.Bob was truly a man of many trades.
