She was born May 24, 1957 in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Richard Samons & Shirley Crum Samons. She was a retired housekeeper for Jenny Wiley State Park. She is survived by her Son: Adam (Tabitha) Samons of Clay, Kentucky; Daughter: Selena (Jamie) Dale of Pikeville, Kentucky; Grandchildren: Zachary Tyler Samons, Haili Nickole (Tyler) Slone & Hannah Jo Dale (Mitch Tyler); Great Grandchildren: Oliver David Slone, Arya Reign Slone & Finnley James Stober;Sister: Nancy Jean Amburgey; Honorable Sister: Janet Samons; A Host of Nieces, Nephews, Family & Friends. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her Brother& Sisters: Richard Samons Jr., Evelyn Hall, Annie Mae Miller, Lora Samons & Louvina Samons.
