She was born May 19, 1961 to the late Fred Presley of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Thelma Thacker of Banner, Kentucky. She was the wife of William “Bill” Powers. Debbie was an avid UK Wildcat fan. You could always find her cheering on the cats! Her favorite dessert was anything chocolate! If you ever had a conversation with Debbie you would find her always bragging about her great-nieces. She loved to listen to Mia Lequire sing and perform at the Kentucky Opry, Mila Lequire was her “Grinch” buddy as they both shared the love of anything “Grinch”. Loran Stumbo Jr, age 67 of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026 at Highlands ARH. He was born June 9, 1958 in Floyd County, Kentucky to Edith Slone Stumbo and the late Loran Stumbo. He was the loving companion to Rebecca Campbell of Prestonsburg, Kentucky. Through his work with Stumbo Paint and Drywall, he built not only homes but lasting relationships. He was known for his hard work and excellence in his craft. He also had a love for muscle cars and anything that went fast. His greatest pride and accomplishment was his son, Taylor Alex Stumbo, whom continues the family business and carries on his fathers legacy.
