Dr. Donald Wicks passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026, at Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana, surrounded by family and compassionate care givers.Born in 1932 in Union County, Kentucky, Don was the son of the late Louis and Marie Wicks. He is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Cricket, and his son Joel (Tamara).Don proudly served four years in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Following his military service, he attended Western Kentucky University and graduated from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He went on to enjoy a distinguished career in dentistry, where he was respected not only for his professional skill but also for the kindness and genuine care he showed every patient.Away from the office, Don found his greatest joy outdoors. An avid fisherman, hunter and boater, he cherished time spent on the water and in the woods. Whether…
