With deep sorrow, we announce the departure of our beloved Clara Mae Croley (February 14, 1947 - March 30, 2026). Clara was born in Williamsburg, KY, and spent her life in Siler, Kentucky. She was a devoted member of the Buffalo Missionary Baptist Church in Gausdale, KY, her faith serving as a beacon of light that guided her through life's journey. Clara's loyalty was deeply rooted in her beliefs. As stated in Proverbs chapter 31: 25-26….Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come. She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.Clara embodied the spirit of selfless love, particularly towards her family and the numerous children she cared for during her lifetime. Geneva Moses Childress, age 100, of Mentor Ohio, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, March 28, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic hospital in Euclid, Ohio. Neva was born on April 12, 1925, in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Rev. Kim and Lucy Moses. In addition, her parents, she was also preceded in death by her siblings, Claude Moses, Kelly Moses, Rev. Kelsie Moses, Ira Moses, Edith Davenport, Letha Moses and Gereda Entsminger, her beloved husband of 44 years, Simon Childress, and a cherished son, Basil Childress.Neva was active in church her whole life, now she has received her reward.She is survived by her granddaughters, Julianna Reagan and Delaney McCann, great granddaughters, Claire Reagan and Chloe Reagan.
