Charles Widener, age 86 of Rockholds, Ky. passed away Thursday April 2, 2026 at his home. He was born November 25, 1939 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Elmer and Thelma Lawson Widener. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.He is survived by his wife Opal Widener of Rockholds, Ky., two sons; Michael Widener (Carol) of Somerset, Ky., Larry Widener of Williamsburg, Ky., one daughter; Pam Lawson (Tracy) of Williamsburg, Ky., four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, one sister; Nadine Bortz of Somerset, Ky.At the request of the family all services will be private.
