It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Emma Matte Meaux, age 85, who passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the age of 85, surrounded by her loved ones.Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Crowley. Fr. Jonathan Janise, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, will officiate the services. A rosary will be held on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at church. Burial will follow her services at Woodlawn Mausoleum in Crowley.Emma was a native of Church Point and had been a resident of Crowley for many years. She was a woman of deep and unwavering faith and a lifelong parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel for Wilfred Mouton, Jr., 66, who passed away May 15, 2026, at his home in Crowley.Fr. Mark Odoguje, pastor of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Crowley will be officiating for the services. Visiting hour will be held at 9:30 am until the time of service Saturday at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home in Crowley. Burial will be in West Crowley Cemetery.He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Leanna Mouton; and six sisters, Rose Mouton, Versa Winn, Glen Mouton, Angel Thorton, Jacquline Montgomery, and Casandra Morton.Wilfred is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Waiver Winter Mouton, Sr.; and five siblings, Helen Moore, Lois Hopkins, Sherra Charles, Alfreada Mouton, and Romell Mouton, Sr.Arrangements have been entrusted to Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home of Crowley.
