Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Farrar age 86 of Farmerville LA will be held at 200 PM Monday April 6 2026 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rocky Branch LA. Interment will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home. Jerry was a Biologist with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries for 33 years. He was the Deer Study Leader for many years for the state of Louisiana. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved deer hunting turkey and squirrel hunting specifically. After retirement he enjoyed working his cows at his farm at his birthplace of Lillie Louisiana. He should best be remembered for his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and as a neighbor and friend to all.
