He was born on July 23, 1949, and grew up in Grant, Louisiana, where he spent his younger years surrounded by family, the outdoors, and the simple things he loved most.Wayne was the son of the late Marvin “Wilton” Hamilton of Grant, Louisiana, and the late Billie Dee Smith of Mittie, Louisiana. He was a beloved brother to Becky Beard Disatell of Sugartown, Louisiana, Jane Ann and her husband Richard Cooley of DeRidder, Louisiana, Frankie Hamilton of Sugartown, Louisiana, and Sheron Beth and her husband Tony Seal of Mittie, Louisiana.Wayne was the father of Marvin Hamilton and Chellie Hamilton, with their mother, Della.
