Funeral services for Mr. Edgar Lee "Ping" Fee, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Union Hill Baptist Church, with Reverends Jeffrey Scroggins and Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Union Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.Mr. Fee, 85, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, Louisiana.In his younger years, he could rough-cut and pick pulpwood. He also cut logs, using a stick with black tape and notches to measure the length and determine where to cut.He was the owner and operator of his own log truck, where he taught his kids how to perform maintenance on it and the importance of keeping it washed and clean.He was a heavy equipment operator and ran a dozer for Tanner Construction and T.L. James, clearing land and building house pads.…

Mr. Paul Eli Williamson, 67, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Monday, August 17, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA. A loving brother and uncle, Eli proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He had a deep love for fishing, especially along the Calcasieu River, where he spent many peaceful hours making cherished memories. Eli will be remembered for his love of family, his service to his country, and the simple joys that brought him happiness.He was preceded in death by his parents, James “Tex” and Ann Williamson; and one brother, Jimmy Williamson.Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include two sisters, Sarah Manuel (Anthony) of Oberlin, and Diana Williamson of Eunice; two nephews, Jacob Rodriguez and Lee Rodriguez; two great nephews, Lucas Rodriguez and Bryson Rodriguez; and one great niece, Landree Rodriguez.All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale,…
