Marion Ella Ivkovich a beloved mother grandmother greatgrandmother and friend to so many passed away peacefully on Wednesday August 5 2026 at the age of 93 under the gentle care of Frederick Health Hospice and Frederick Health Hospital in Frederick Maryland. Marion was born on March 24 1933 on a small farm in Wisconsin to Ella M. Gotz. She grew up in Zeeland Michigan where she was a bright and spirited presenceactive in her church her community and her school while also working at the local soda fountain and roller rink. After graduating from Zeeland High School Marion spent a year at Western Michigan College before setting off for Washington DC determined to advance her career in the nations capital by working for the Food and Drug Administration. It is with great sadness as well as admiration for a life welllived that we bid farewell to Dr. John G. Lodmell who began his next journey on August 03 at the age of 91. John was born in Ft. Sheridan IL to Elmer and Lyla Lodmell and as his father was stationed around the country and around the globe in the Army John lived in several places as a child. He completed high school in San Francisco and attended college at Duke. During his early years John demonstrated the innate fire in his belly by relentlessly pursuing extracurricular activities ranging from competitive swimming to Boy Scouts to singing in a barbershop quartet named the Uncalled Four.
