Scott was a graduate of Joseph Case High School in Swansea and then onto UMASS Amherst Stockbridge School of Agriculture. He started his professional career with Bartlett Tree Service and spent the rest of his career as a lineman for the Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant a job he truly enjoyed. Over the course of his career he received many citation awards and accolades for his work. He was very passionate about what he did. Scott was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking camping skiing riding his bike kayaking and canoeing to name a few. If there was an opportunity to do something fun outside he was there. He also enjoyed spending time with his children and friends at his barn in Wendell MA. Scott had an enthusiasm for trees woodworking animals and loved spending time with his dog Shea. Born in Fall River she was the beloved daughter of the late James George and Kathleen Perry King. Donna is survived by her sister Karen King and her husband Jim Flynn of Holden MA nephew Nathaniel Flynn and his wife Lyndsay along with their daughters Orla and Alma Flynn of Brockton MA. Donna was an avid fan of Barry Manilow and took great joy in attending several of his concerts over the years. She loved singing along to his music whether it was on the radio videos or CDs. Alexander ONeil Amaral 51 of Somerset passed away unexpectedly on Sunday February 1 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. He was born in New Bedford and was the beloved son of John J. Amaral and Lisa Amaral Amaral. Alex was a graduate of Dartmouth High School and worked for many years as a Construction Foreman. He was a proud member of Carpenters Union Local 327 and was also a skilled welder. Known for his strong work ethic and handson talent Alex took great pride in everything he did.
