Deborah was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late David Kelley and Catherine Mossatt Kelley. Ms. Kelley was a graduate of Durfee High School and was employed for many years as a schoolteacher with the Swansea Public Schools where she was devoted to the needs of her students. Deborah also volunteered her time at Swansea selectmans meetings and at Church of Our Saviour in Somerset for many years. Although she never had children Deborah was a loving aunt and great aunt and loved to support her family. She was always there for family gatherings and loved to cheer on her great nieces and nephews at their sporting events. She is survived by her nieces Jennifer Lynn Sadler and Kelley SadlerNettles and her husband John all of Florida nephews Kevin Cadorette and his wife of Somerset Keith Cadorette and his wife Sarah Jane of Swansea Scott Cadorette…

SWANSEAJean Murphy 67 passed away unexpectedly on March 31 2026. She was the loving wife and best friend of Francis T. Murphy. Jean was born in Fall River and was the daughter of the late Robert Burns and Janice Carrier Burns. Jean was a graduate of Somerset High School and Emmanuel College and was employed as a manager with Verizon for many years until her retirement. Jean never slowed down in her retirement and enjoyed spending as much time as she could with family and friends. She was happiest when spending time by the ocean and loved going to the beach spending time tending to her garden and traveling with her husband to their second home in Venice FL. Alda Maria Raposo Farias age 85 of Fall River passed away on Monday March 30 2026 at Charlton Memorial Hospital with her loving family by her side. Born in Faj de Cima So Miguel Aores Alda was the beloved wife of the late Norberto P. Farias and the daughter of the late Antonio L. Laura Medeiros Raposo. Alda was currently working for the Council on Aging as a Senior Aide at the Flint Senior Center for over 20 years. She was a devoted parishioner of Espirito Santo Church and the pillar of her family. Alda wasnt your typical Av at 85 years young she still wore high heels and dressed in current fashion. Alda enjoyed having lunches with her sisters Gilda and Mary at their favorite lunch spots and chatting for countless hours with her sister Antonieta on the phone.
