Frederick J. Marland 88 of Dartmouth passed away on Friday October 9 2026 at St. Lukes Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Barbara Pacheco Marland with whom he shared 60 years of marriage. Born in Dartmouth he was the son of the late Robert F. and Isabelle I. Stevens Marland. He was a graduate of Dartmouth High School Class of 1956 and proudly served his country in the United States Army where he worked on aircraft as an aviation mechanic. Following his military service Fred continued his career in aviation and maintenance. He served for many years as Director of Maintenance at Fram Corporation before later working for Continental Express and Island Airlines where he remained until his retirement. Born in New Bedford she was the daughter of the late Edward H. Milosek and the late Ellen O. Neubert Milosek. She is survived by her siblings Kenneth Milosek and his wife Denise George Milosek and his wife Julie and her sister Kristie Walker. Kim was also a loving and devoted aunt to her nieces and nephews Tasha Milosek Eric Milosek Nathan Walker Alicia Oliveira Kyle Milosek and Paige Milosek whom she loved as though they were her own children. She held a special place in her heart for each of them and took great pride in being their aunt. She was also a cherished greataunt to Colby Sophia Damien Cheyanne Harvey Baine Riley and Jaydin all of whom she adored dearly.
