Shannon Helen Sweeney, age 35, of Lynn, passed away on October 12, 2007 in Lewisville Texas after battling ARDS/Pneumonia. At the time, she was pregnant with Gauge William Reece-Sweeney, who did not survive the birth. Born in Lynn on September 29, 1972, she was the daughter of the late Barbara Lorraine Simes and Albert “Mike” Sweeney, Jr.Shannon is survived by her two loving children, Dustin Rooney and Crystal Rooney. Dustin and Crystal were separated from Shannon in 1998 and grew up in foster care. Dustin searched for his mother for many years and recently discovered that she and Gauge had passed away in 2007. Since that time, their cremated remains had been stored at a Funeral Home in Lewisville Texas. Diane Louise (Randell) Nardone, 79, of Lynn, Mass, formerly of Livermore, Maine passed away peacefully on October 11, 2026, after a period of declining health. Diane was born on January 5, 1947, in Everett, Mass. She was raised in Concord, Mass with her three siblings.On May 11, 1968, Diane married James Nardone. They bought their first home in Lynn, MA, where they raised their six children. Diane was a chef at Lynn Hospital and a supervisor at Union Hospital until her retirement in 2012. After retiring, Diane and Jimmy relocated to Livermore, Maine. Diane was an amazing mother, and she enjoyed her days spending time with her extensive family, many friends and shopping for them all. Everyone will remember Diane for the many cards she sent to countless people. She was incredibly caring, quick witted, and extremely funny. Neil was a talented drummer, guitarist, and songwriter. He spent many years as a cook and long distance truck driver.
