It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father Mark Pelletier of Middleton on May 12 2026 at the age of 78. He was born on March 17 1948 in Webster Massachusetts and lived a life marked by devotion to his family his country and to the many people whose lives he touched along the way. Mark was the beloved husband of the late Diane M. Brooks with whom they shared 31 years of marriage. He was the son of the late Armand L. Pelletier of Webster and the late Mildred A. Warhurst of Worcester. He is the father of his two wonderful sons Mark A. Pelletier Jr of Waltham and Alex B. Pelletier of Lynn. Mr. David C. Bishop, age 66, of Saugus, formerly of Boston and Florida, died on Saturday, May 9th. He was the partner of Carl Sietins.Born and raised in Boston, David was the son of the late Cecil and Stella (Randall) Bishop. A resident of Saugus for the past four years, he worked as a nursing assistant at the Chelsea Soldiers Home. David enjoyed shopping and traveling all over the world. He loved being with family and being a great uncle to his nieces and nephews.In addition to Carl, David is survived by his brother, George C. Bishop of FL; two sisters, Evelyn Niedzwiecki of WV and Deborah A. Allhiser of CA; and many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Barbara J. (Rumson) Reed, age 90, of Westford, formerly of Burlington, died on Thursday, May 14th at the Inn at Fairview in Hudson, NH. She was the wife of the late Robert W. Reed.Born and raised in Revere, Mrs. Reed was the daughter of the late Arthur and Wilhelmina (Taylor) Rumson.Mrs. Reed is survived by her son Robert W. Reed, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of NH. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Jack or fast Jack as he was known to family and friends graduated from Lawrence High and was a gifted athlete who excelled at basketball and baseball and later in life softball volleyball and bowling.He played second base for the state championship Holihans softball team and played basketball in Europe while in the Navy. Jack served during the Korean War as an Electricians Mate Petty Officer 3rd Class while stationed in the Mediterranean aboard the USS N K Perry.
