CHICOPEE David F. Zajchowski 79 of Chicopee passed away on Thursday March 5 2026 at Holyoke Medical Center. He was born on February 24 1947 in Chicopee and was the son of the late Theodore J. and Anna M. Bulecza Zajchowski. David was predeceased by his sister Theodora J. Galica. David worked as a teacher and then as an IT professional. He is survived by his longtime partner Christine Zalucki of Wilbraham and a nephew Gary E. Galica of Medford. A service will be Wednesday April 8th at the Cierpial Memorial Funeral Home on 61 Grape St. in Chicopee at 5 pm.
