AGAWAM- It is with heavy hearts that we announce the death of Alba Y. (Mariani) Cetti on October 10th, 2026 at the age of 99 ½. Born in Ludlow on April 16, 1927, to Enrico and Julia Mariani . She had a loving heart and a strong character. Growing up alongside her siblings Volturno, Armando, Reno, Enrico; her sisters Louise and Lena, whom have all past away. They had deep bonds throughout the years. Alba attended Ludlow schools, and after graduation she attended and graduated from Springfield Trade School as a beautician. She later owned her own beauty shop in Agawam in the 1950’s. Alba also worked out of her house for many years. In 1968 she married John P. Cetti and enjoyed 45 years of love, laughter and many memories. They traveled to Italy, Caribbean; and owned a condo in Sun City, AZ. for 20 years where they spent the winters.…
