Lawrence Alfred Drolett Jr. age 89 died on Sunday August 16 2026. Larry was born in Lansing Michigan on September 9 1936. He was the son of Dr. Lawrence A. Sr. and Mildred Henriott Drolett the grandson of Dr. Fred and Grace Drolett and the nephew of Dr. Donald and Kay Drolett. Larry graduated from Sexton High School in 1954 and went on to attend the University of Michigan and Michigan State University. He graduated in 1961 from Wisconsin Institute majoring in Mortuary Science as a Funeral Director. His first employment was at EstesLeadley Funeral Home in Lansing where he worked for 16 years. Larry took a break from the funeral business and worked for Wonch Battery for 9 years and then went to work at McFadden School Bus Company for 3 years.
