James “Jim” Westrick age 64 of Grand Rapids walked on Saturday October 10, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother Mary Ann Fasburg, his grandmother Evelyn Florom, his uncle Louie Kiogima.Jim will be deeply missed by his wife Nina May Westrick; his sons John (Georgina) Chandler and James Louis (Terra) Westrick; his grandchildren Cameron, Jayden, Ellexis, Allyssa, Neveah, Natalia, Isabelle, Emmanuel, Xavier; his great grandchildren Octavius and Olive; his siblings Charles (Penny) Westrick, Terry (John) Cappadony; his aunt Janice Kiogima; his brothers-in-law Tony Watkins and Ricki Watkins; nieces and nephews. Jim served his country in the U.S. Army serving in Germany, Korea and Afghanistan.He worked for JC Penney for 16 years and later to work in fiber optic installations.Jim enjoyed doing math problems on line, watching television, football (especially the University of Michigan), Murder She Wrote and Fox News.
