Nancy Rita Serio Osterday age 93 of Howell formerly of Dayton Ohio passed away peacefully on May 16 2026. Nancy was born on March 25 1933 in Dayton Ohio to Charles and Josephine Balsamo Serio. Nancy married the love of her life Gilbert Osterday on December 1 1951 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dayton Ohio. The two first met at a movie theater where Gilbert worked as an usher. What began as a friendship quickly blossomed into a lifelong love story that would span 68 wonderful years of marriage and bless them with seven children 15 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren with three more on the way. Together Nancy and Gil shared a passion for travel and adventure that created many beloved stories and memories. Gloria married the love of her life Ted Pierson on June 13 1964 in Wayne Michigan. Gloria was a loving wife mother and grandmother. She enjoyed baking cooking crafting sewing quilting and scrapbooking. Gloria often made beautiful handmade items to sell at the Senior Centers Christmas Bizarre. She enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center playing cards with friends. She loved to shop and frequent garage sales. Gloria loved her church at Immanuel Baptist Church and always looked forward to the monthly potluck. Gloria was adored by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
