John Terrance “Terry” McLaughlin was born on August 20, 1941, in Dearborn, Michigan. He was the middle of three sons from the union of James C. McLaughlin and Marie L. (Kennedy) McLaughlin. He graduated from Monroe Catholic Central High School with the class of 1960 and furthered his education at Monroe County Community College. Terry was joined in marriage to the love of his life, the former Karen Weaver on July 18, 1975, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. The couple was blessed with the birth of two children: Matt and Quinn. He was an excellent provider for his family, being employed in the steel industry for thirty-two years. He worked as a sales representative for Contractors and Art Iron, and in warehouse operations for Pyramid. He retired in 2003. Donald Milton Marsh was born on October 27, 1951, in Uhrichsville, Ohio. He was one of three children from the union of Donald E. Marsh and Wilda L. (Youngen) Marsh. He attended and graduated from Maumee High School with the class of 1971. He furthered his education by completing college courses at Monroe County Community College.Don took a position as a mechanic with Montgomery Ward. He served in this role for the next eighteen years. In 1976, his life quickly changed. On March 1, he met the former Laurie Ann Johnson on a blind date. They had an instant connection and on April 14, he asked her to be his wife. The couple was joined in marriage on November 12 the same year at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Temperance.Don and Laurie were soon blessed with three sons.
