Boelter, Charles Lawrence (Doc) DDSAge 81, found Heavenly Peace on October 12, 2026. Chuck “Doc” Boelter graduated from Lincoln High School in 1963, and The University of Michigan Dental School. He enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served as an officer and dentist on a ship off Vietnam. After honorable discharge, he opened a dental practice in Belleville, Michigan where he served his beloved patients for 42 years. He immediately hired Carolyn Elgas where she remained his often frustrated and bemused office manager until his retirement. Chuck had many interests that he shared ad infinitum with his staff and patients -- he did not shy away from expressing his political views with all who would listen. He was a long-haul bicyclist and participated many times in the Lansing-to-Mackinac Bridge (DAL MAC) event. He crafted beautiful traditional archery bows, one of which was featured in the television series “Lonesome Dove.”…
